On June 1, 2007, The Hollywood Reporter announced that Greenwalt would serve as executive producer and showrunner on Moonlight, a new series that will debut on CBS in the fall of 2007.[1] He later had to leave the show before it was first aired for health reasons. Executive producer Joel Silver said that his name would remain: "He worked really hard on the arc of the series. He really helped us focus and get started".[2]
