Chris Patten

Christopher Francis Patten, Baron Patten of Barnes, CH, PC (Chinese: 彭定康;^[1] born 12 May 1944) is a British politician. He is the 28th and final Governor of Hong Kong from 19 July 1992 until the end of British administration over the territory on 30 June 1997. He has been a Conservative member of the House of Lords since 2005. He represented Bath in the House of Commons from 1979 to 1992.
