annual event dedicated to bonfires, fireworks and celebrations From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bonfire Night is an event dedicated to celebration with bonfires or fireworks. Different traditions celebrate Bonfire Night on different days. In Great Britain, it is celebrated as Guy Fawkes Night on 5th November.[1] Other versions of Bonfire Night are also celebrated on this date in several other Commonwealth countries.[2][3] A similar bonfire tradition is celebrated in parts of Scandinavia and is known as Walpurgis Night.
