Area codes 310 and 424 are area codes for California. Area code 310 was created on 1991, as a split from area code 213. It covers the western and southwestern parts of Los Angeles County, such as the westside of Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Manhattan Beach. It was split by 562 in 1997 and overlaid by 424 in 2006.[1]
