Antoine Faivre

Antoine Faivre (5 June 1934 – 19 December 2021) was a French scholar. His works focused on Western esotericism. He was chair of the École Pratique des Hautes Études at the Sorbonne. He worked at the University of Haute-Normandie. Faivre was the editor of the journal Aries.

Faivre died on 19 December 2021, at the age of 87.^[1]
