Alfre Woodard (/ˈælfriː ˈwʊdərd/ (listen); born November 8, 1952) is an American actress who stars in both movies and television. She played Carolyn in the 1994 movie Crooklyn. Alfre was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Woodard is a Democrat and attended the 2012 Democratic National Convention in support of President Obama's re-election.[1]
