Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson (born 29 October 1987), better known by her stage name Tove Lo, is a Swedish singer and songwriter.[1] She was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden.[1] She graduated from musical magnet school Rytmus Musikergymnasiet. Early in her life she started writing poetry and short stories. She wrote songs for other singers including Icona Pop and Girls Aloud. Lo then began writing songs for herself. She self-released her single "love Ballad" in 2012. Her 2013 single "Habits" reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100.[2] In 2014 she released her debut album "Queen of the Clouds".[1] It peaked at #14 on the Billboard Hot 200.[3]
