Thor is a 2011 American superhero movie, directed by Kenneth Branagh, and starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston. It is the first movie of the series based on the Marvel Comics character Thor. It was produced by Marvel Studios, and is the fifth movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
