The Pogues

The Pogues are an English[1] Celtic punk band.[2] They were founded in 1982 in London. Shane MacGowan is the lead singer. Joe Strummer also played with them. They are best known for their Christmas song "Fairytale of New York", recorded with Kirsty MacColl.[3]
