Terence Hallinan (December 4, 1936 ā January 17, 2020) was an American attorney and politician. He was born in San Francisco, California. He was the 26th District Attorney of San Francisco from 1996 through 2004. Hallinan was defeated in the next election for DA by Kamala Harris.[1] Hallinan was a member of the Democratic Party.
