Theodore Paul Budd (born October 21, 1971) is an American businessman and Republican politician.[1] He is the junior United States Senator from North Carolina since 2023. In 2017, he was elected to the United States House of Representatives.

On April 28, 2021, Budd announced his candidacy for the 2022 United States Senate election in North Carolina to replace retiring Republican Senator Richard Burr.[2] He won the Republican nomination in May 2022 and later defeated Cheri Beasley in the general election.
