Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani (born 3 June 1980 in Doha, Qatar) is the current Emir of Qatar. Tamim is the fourth son of his father, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the previous Emir of Qatar and second son of Moza bint Nasser. Tamim became Emir on 25 June 2013.[1] He is the youngest reigning monarch of a sovereign nation.[2]

Education
He studied in the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst where he graduated in 1998.[3]
