Richard Ellef Ayoade (/ˌaɪoʊˈɑːdi/ EYE-oh-AH-dee; born 23 May 1971) is a British actor, broadcaster, comedian and filmmaker.[1] He is best known for his role as Maurice Moss in Channel 4 sitcom The IT Crowd. In 2008, he won a BAFTA Award.
