Piper Laurie

Piper Laurie (born Rosetta Jacobs; January 22, 1932 ā October 14, 2023) was an American actress. She played Catherine in the television series Twin Peaks. She acted in the movies Carrie and Children of a Lesser God. She also acted in stage plays. She was married to movie critic Joe Morgenstern from 1962 until they divorced in 1982. She was born in Detroit, Michigan.[1]
During her career, she won a Primetime Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award and was nominated for an Academy Award and BAFTA Award.
Laurie died in Los Angeles, California on October 14, 2023, at the age of 91.[2][3]
