A phablet (/ˈfæblət/) is a type of mobile device designed to combine the format of smartphones and tablet computers. The name itself is a combination of the words phone and tablet.

Phablets have screens that measure diagonally 5.1–6.99 inches (130–178 mm).[1] This size allows for activities such as mobile web browsing and watching videos.
