Peter E. Toschek (18 April 1933 – 25 June 2020) was a German experimental physicist. He researched nuclear physics, quantum optics, and laser physics. He was known as an important scientist of laser spectroscopy. He was a professor at Hamburg University. Toschek was born in Hindenburg, Saxony-Anhalt.
Toschek died on 25 June 2020 in Hindenburg, aged 87.[1]
