Minot is a town in North Dakota in the United States. It has 48,377 people living in it, as of 2020.[1] It is home to the Minot State University which opened in 1913.[2] It is the county seat of Ward County. The Minot Air Base is located 12 miles (19 km) north of the city. It is home to the 5th Bomb Wing and the 91st Space Wing of the US Air Force. [3]
