Melanie Ann Stansbury (born January 31, 1979)[1][2] is an American scientist and politician. She is the U.S. Representative for New Mexico's 1st congressional district since 2021.[3] Stansbury was a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives for the 28th district from 2019 until 2021.[4] Stansbury is a member of the Democratic Party.
