Mario Kart 7 (also called MK7 and originally called Mario Kart 3DS) is a Nintendo 3DS racing game released on December 1, 2011. It is the seventh main game in the series. The game as additions, including hang-gliding attachments on karts and driving underwater.[1] The player is able to customize their karts. Metal Mario, Lakitu, Wiggler, and Honey Queen appeared as playable characters.[2][3]
