Manfred Stolpe (16 May 1936 – 29 December 2019) was a German politician. He was Federal Minister of Transport, Building and Housing of the Federal Republic of Germany from 2002 until 2005. From 1990 until 2002, he was Minister President of Brandenburg. Stolpe was born in Stettin (Szczecin).
Stolpe was diagnosed with colon and male breast cancer in 2009.[1] He died on 29 December 2019 in Potsdam of liver cancer at the age of 83.[2]
