John Adams Wickham Jr. (June 25, 1928 – May 11, 2024) was a United States Army general who served as the United States Army Chief of Staff from 1983 to 1987.

Wickham was born on June 25, 1928, in Dobbs Ferry, New York. He worked at the United States Military Academy as a social sciences instructor, from 1956 to 1960.[1]
Wickham Jr. died on May 11, 2024 in Oro Valley, Arizona at the age of 95.[2]
