Sir Fazle Hasan Abed KCMG (27 April 1936 – 20 December 2019) was a Bangladeshi businessman. He was the founder and Chair Emeritus of BRAC. This was one of the world's largest non-governmental organizations.

Abed died on 20 December 2019 at a Dhaka hospital from respiratory failure caused by glioblastoma, aged 83.[2]
