Joshua Paul Davis, (born June 29, 1972)[1][2] known by his stage name DJ Shadow, is an American music producer, DJ and songwriter. He is an important person in the history of instrumental hip hop. He became well known after his first album Endtroducing....., which was made entirely from samples. He has a collection of over 60,000 records.[3]
