The Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka (Sinhala: ශ්රී ලංකා ආණ්ඩුක්රම ව්යවස්ථාව, romanized: Śrī Laṃkā āndukrama vyavasthāva, Tamil: இலங்கை அரசியலமைப்பின், romanized: Ilaṅkai araciyalamaippiṉ) is the constitution of Sri Lanka after its first public use by National State Assembly of Sri Lanka since 7 September 1978.[1] It has been properly changed 21 times.
It is Sri Lanka's second constitution since turning into a Republic and third constitution since independence from the United Kingdom.[2]
