Chip Douglas

Douglas Farthing Hatlelid, better known as Chip Douglas (b. 27 August 1942), is an American musician and songwriter. He became a producer when he worked with The Monkees on their music. He also worked with The Turtles, first as bass guitarist and arranger, then later as producer.
