Sir Charles Tupper, 1st Baronet, GCMG, CB, PC (July 2, 1821 – October 30, 1915) was a Canadian father of Confederation:[1] as the premier of Nova Scotia from 1864 to 1867, he led Nova Scotia into Confederation. He was also the shortest serving Prime Minister of Canada. His term was only 2 and a half months.
