Bingo Province

Bingo Province (備後国, Bingo no kuni) was an old province of Japan in the area of the eastern part of Hiroshima Prefecture on the island of Honshū.[1] Along with Bizen and Bitchū Provinces, it was sometimes called Bishū (備州).

The province had borders with Bitchū, Hōki, Izumo, Iwami, and Aki Provinces.
The ancient capital city of the province was in the area of Fuchu.
