Area code 912 is a telephone area code in the state of Georgia, United States. It covers the southeastern part of Georgia, including cities such as Savannah, Brunswick, and Statesboro. It was created in 1954 as a split from area code 404. It originally covered most of southern Georgia. It was split by 229 and 478, both in 2000. As of 2022, 912 is estimated to be used up in 2029.[1]
