Arata Fujiwara

Arata Fujiwara (藤原 新, Fujiwara Arata, born 12 September 1981) is a Japanese athlete.^[1] He is best known as a marathon runner.^[2]

In this Japanese name, the family name is Fujiwara.

At the 2009 World Championships in Athletics at Berlin, Fujiwara finished 61st in the men's marathon.^[1]

He finished second in the 2012 Tokyo Marathon.^[3]

He was a member of the Japanese team in the 2012 Summer Olympics at London.^[4]
