Abu Hafs al-Hashimi al-Qurashi (Arabic: أَبُو حَفْصٍ ٱلْهَاشِمِيُّ ٱلْقُرَيْشِيُّ) is the fifth caliph[lower-alpha 1] of Daesh. He become caliph on the 3rd or 6th of August 2023[lower-alpha 2], by the spokesperson of Daesh, Abu Hudhayfah Al-Ansari, which came after 4 months after the death of Abu al-Hussein al-Husseini al-Qurashi.[4][5][6]
