John Milton Cage Jr. (5. septembar 1912 – 12. august 1992.) bio je američki kompozitor, najpoznatiji kao pionir aleatorne i elektronske muzike te nekonvencionalnog korištenja muzičkih instrumenata. Cage se smatra jednom od vodećih ličnosti poratne muzičke avangarde, te jednim od najvećih američkih kompozitora 20. vijeka.[1][2] Također je bio važna ličnost u razvoju modernog plesa, zahvaljujući vezi s koreografom Merceom Cunnighamom.[3][4]
