Henry Roth

Henry Roth (8.2. 1906 - 13.10. 1995) bio je američki romanopisac i novelist. Najpoznatiji je po romanu Call It Sleep (1934) koji opisuje odrastanje mladog židovskog imigranta u Americi. Nakon tog romana je počeo patiti od spisateljske blokade, te je napustio pisanje i životario u američkoj provinciji kao vatrogasac i učitelj. Roman je otkriven tek 1960-ih kada je Roth dobio poticaj da ponovno počne pisati
