Wiltshire (/[unsupported input]ˈwɪltʃər/ or /ˈwɪltʃɪər/, formerly /ˈwɪlʃər/; or the County of Wilts) is a landlockit ceremonial coonty in Sooth Wast Ingland. It contains the unitary authority o Swindon an covers 3,485 km2 (1,346 square mile).[1] The auncient coonty toun wis Wilton, but syne 1930 Wiltshire County Council an its successor Wiltshire Council (frae 2009) hae been based at Trowbridge.
