Paldiski is a toun an Baltic Sea port situatit on the Pakri peninsula o north-wastren Estonie. Oreeginally a Swadish settlement kent as Rågervik, it became a Roushie naval base in the 18t yeirhunner. The Roushies recried it Балтийский Порт ("Baltiyskiy Port", i.e. Baltic Port, German: Baltisch-Port) in 1762. In Estonie the name wis spelt Baltiski until 1933 whan the Estonie pronunciation Paldiski became the offeecial name.
