Kohila (umwhile Kapa-Kohila an aw, German: Koil, Kappakoil) is a burgh (Estonie: alev) in Rapla Coonty, northren Estonie. It is the admeenistrative centre o Kohila Pairish. Kohila haes a population o 3,505 (as o 1 Januar 2006).[1]

Durin its lang history, the estate haes belangit tae various Baltic German faimilies, includin the Wrangel faimily, who awned it for mair nor 200 year. The present-day biggin oreeginally dates frae the early 19t century, but wis hivily rebuilt efter bein burnt bi rioters durin the Roushie Revolution o 1905. Fowerteen o the rioters wur shot tae daith bi Roushie troops, an the laird o the manor, shaken bi the events, shortly efterwairds decidit tae sell the estate tae a paper pulp factory.[2]
