The series revolves aroond aspirin sangster Tori Vega (portrayed bi Victoria Justice), a teenager that attends a performin airts heich schuil cried Hollywood Arts, efter takkin her aulder sister Trina's (Daniella Monet) place in a showcase while gettin intae screwball situations on a daily basis. On her first day at Hollywood Arts, she meets Andre Harris (Leon Thomas III), Robbie Shapiro (Matt Bennett), Rex Powers (Robbie's puppet), Jade West (Elizabeth Gillies), Cat Valentine (Ariana Grande), an Beck Oliver (Avan Jogia). On August 10, 2012, Victoria Justice stated that the series wad nae be renewed.[2] An aa, efter the announcement o the series' spin-off Sam & Cat wis made, fans o Victorious expressed dismay that its spin-off series wis the reason for its endin, but Dan Schneider himsel stated otherwise.[3] Awtho the Victorious cast anly filmed three seasons, when the decision tae end the series wis made, Nickelodeon split the third series in hauf, makin a fowert saison.[4]

Ither students at Hollywood Arts, an the students that mak up Tori's group o freends, include Andre Harris, a muisical prodigy that becomes Tori's best freend at Hollywood Arts efter encouragin her tae stay at the schuil an helpin her realize her talent; Robbie Shapiro, a socially awkward ventriloquist that cairies aroond his puppet Rex Powers, that is seen bi Robbie (an generally everyone else) as a livin person; Jade West, a sarcastic an Gothic "mean girl" that haes a complicated frenemy relationship wi Tori an eften threatens her; Cat Valentine, a sweet an innocent but naive an somewhat dim-witted girl; an Beck Oliver, a doun-tae-earth an handsome guy that is Jade's boyfriend.
