Nam-gu (leeterally sooth destrict) is a gu, or district, in sooth central Busan, Sooth Korea. Hintle o Nam-gu sticks oot intae the Sea o Japan (East Sea), shapin a peninsula which separates Suyeong Bay frae Busan Harbor. It haes a aurie o 25.91 km². Nam-gu offeecially became a gu o Busan in 1975. In 1995 pairt o Nam-gu wis dividit tae shape Suyeong-gu.
