Chekhov (Roushie: Че́хов) is a toun an the admeenistrative centre o Chekhovsky Destrict o Moscow Oblast, Roushie. Afore 1954, it wis namit Lopasnya (Лопа́сня), efter the Lopasnya River. Population: 60,720 (2010 Census);[1] 72,917 (2002 Census);[4] 59,206 (1989 Census);[5] 56,000 (1985).
