Alba Iulia (Romanie pronunciation: [ˌalba ˈjuli.a] ( listen); German: Karlsburg, Carlsburg or Weißenburg, Hungarian: Gyulafehérvár, Laitin: Apulum in the Roman period, later Alba Iulia[2] or Alba Yulia; Ottoman Turkish: Erdel Belgradı or Belgrad-ı Erdel) is a ceety locatit on the Mureş River in Alba Coonty, Transylvanie, Romanie, wi a population o 58,681 as o 2011[update].[3]
