Old 97's — американская рок-группа из Далласа, штат Техас. Появившись в 1992 году[1] они выпустили тринадцать студийных альбомов, два мини-альбома, один сплит-альбом и один концертный альбом. Их последний релиз называется American Primitive.

Old 97's были первопроходцами движения альт-кантри в середине-конце 1990-х, затем они стали включать больше пауэр-попа в 2000-х.[2] Ведущий вокалист и основной автор песен Ретт Миллер описал стиль группы как «loud folk» (с англ. — «громкий фолк»).[3] Название группы отсылает к железнодорожной катастрофе 1903 года крушение старого 97[англ.].[4]
