Lee Marvin (n 19 februarie 1924 – d. 29 august 1987) a fost un actor american de film și de televiziune [13],laureat al premiului Academy Award pentru Cel mai bun actor. Cunoscut mai ales pentru vocea sa cu inflexiuni grave, Marvin a jucat, mai ales la începutul carierei sale cinematografice, în roluri relativ stereotipe de veterani de război și "duri", întruchipând mai întotdeauna personaje negative. După cucerirea Oscarului, a fost distribuit și în roluri eroice și pozitive.
