Większość rund składała się z dwóch lub trzech wyścigów. Dwie rundy składały się z pojedynczych wyścigów długodystansowych. W każdym z nich dwóch kierowców zmieniało się w jednym samochodzie podczas wyścigu na dystansie 500 lub 1000 km i otrzymywali taką samą liczbę punktów za zajęte miejsce.
