W dniu 1 stycznia 2016 roku z połączenia trzech ówczesnych gmin – Aubie-et-Espessas, Saint-Antoine oraz Salignac – utworzono nową gminę Val de Virvée. Siedzibą gminy została miejscowość Aubie-et-Espessas[2].
