W dniu 1 stycznia 2018 roku z połączenia dwóch ówczesnych gmin – Chauffayer, Les Costes oraz Saint-Eusèbe-en-Champsaur – utworzono nową gminę Aubessagne. Siedzibą gminy została miejscowość Chauffayer[2].
