Ungt stjerneobjekt

Ungt stjerneobjekt, Young Stellar Object (YSO) betegner en stjerne i sin tidlige fase av utviklingen. Denne klassen består av to grupper objekter: protostjerner og PMS-stjerner. Noen ganger deles de etter masse – massive YSO (MYSO), middels massive YSO og brune dverger.
