Ungarn debuterte i den aller første utgaven av Eurovision Choir of the Year, som ble arrangert i Riga, Latvia i 2017.[1] Koret som representerte Ungarn i deres første og hittil eneste deltagelse i konkurransen i 2017, var mannskoret Bartók Béla Férfikar. Koret ble valgt internt av den ungarske kringkasteren MTVA.[2]
