Skåre kirke er en åttekantet kirke fra 1858 i Haugesund kommune i Rogaland fylke.

Byggverket er i tre og har 450 plasser. Kirkeklokkene fra den forrige Skåre kirke ble brukt i den nye.[1] Kirken ble påbygget i 1972. Den har en defekt kirkeklokke fra middelalderen, en fra 1621 og tre fra 1973. Altertavlen er fra 1858, orgelet er fra 1958. Et dåpsfat er fra 1627. Kirkerommet har galleri.
Haugesund fikk kjøpstadsretter i 1854 og ble skilt ut fra Torvastad. I 1879 ble Haugesund og Skåre slått sammen til ett prestegjeld og i 1958 ble Skåre herred en del av Haugesund kommune.[2]
Kirken ble bekostet med lik del på Haugesund og Torvastad kommuner, og driftsutgiftene skulle også deles med en halvpart på hver. Christian Henrik Groschs typetegning fra 1851 hadde et dominerende tårn, men dette "vilde formentlig ei alene forøge Kirkens Omskostninger i Væsentlig grad, men ogsaa hvad værre er på Grund av Terrainets Nøgenhed og Klimaets Haardhed paa denne kant af Landet, blive til Ødeleggelse av Kirken selv", mente kommunebestyrelsen. Tårnet ble redusert i lengde med 5 alen.[trenger referanse] Grosch' typetegning ble bearbeidet av Frederik Hannibal Stockfleth, som også laget arbeidstegninger.[3]
Byggekostnadene ble omtrent det dobbelte av budsjettert og endte med 12 299 speciedaler.[trenger referanse] Ifølge Myckland var det et stort løft å bygge denne kirken og byggekostnaden ble en tung belastningen for kommunenes budsjett.[2]
Kirken på Hauge (oppført 1626) ble revet da Skåre kirke ble bygget.[4] Materialer fra den nedrevne kirken ble brukt i Haugesunds tidligere rådhus.[2]
