Ronald Linn Rivest (født 6. mai 1947 i Schenectady, New York) er en amerikansk kryptograf og professor ved Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Han er medlem av Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) og MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). Tidligere var han medlem av Election Assistance Commission’s Technical Guidelines Development Committee, hvor han hjalp EAC med å formulere Voluntary Voting System Guidelines.[11]
