Pachyschesidae

Pachyschesidae er en av 25 familier i overfamilie Gammaroidea (parvorden Gammaridira, infraorden Gammarida) - innenfor Senticaudata-gruppen av amfipoder. Gruppens arter lever som bentiske bunndyr og kjennes fra Gammaridea-arter på avvikende morfologi i halepartiet. Denne gruppens arter lever bare i ferskvann i og ved Bajkalsjøen.
