Ned Ludd (kan ha vært født Edward Ludlam[1][2]) er en mytisk, men mulig virkelig person, som omtales som lederen til luddittene i England.
Det finnes ingen faste bevis for at denne personen har eksistert, men det er trodd at han stammer fra Anstey, like utenfor Leicester i England. I Robert Calvert sang omtales han slik:
"They said Ned Ludd was an idiot boy
That all he could do was wreck and destroy, and
He turned to his workmates and said: Death to Machines
They tread on our future and they stamp on our dreams."
